[Forum] Style related issues since upgrading to 4.0.2?

Couple of things I've noticed..

The upgrade seems to have changed the postbit background (I.E. where you are reading this text) to the same colour as the background of the forum

I installed the Pastel Blue style from here, and it doesn't look the same! I get the different colour background as described above and this in the quick reply box for e.g.



Have also noticed that the little ^ buttons for the side block now don't work, although this probably isn't a style issue, maybe a bug?

Any thoughts?

When you installed the style, did you make it have No Parent or is it a child style of one of yours? Move it to have No Parent and see if you still have the same problem.

Already set as no parent style - any other suggestions?

There should be nothing in the style to stop the buttons from working. You may want to reinstall the style. I can't really think of anything that could be wrong with a style that is only changes in stylevar colors. (What version of vB are you using?)

I think I can add to this a bit. I've noticed that 4.0.2 isn't showing button images or other related images for Styles other than the default style. I have the Pixels style installed right now and I notice that most of the images do not show up. The style is set to have No Parent as was mentioned earlier. What I can add to this is that vB is trying to display images from styles that I've Uninstalled from the Style manager and whose images I removed. 4.0.1 didn't seem to have this issue.

Are you running in debug mode? Have you by any chance changed the imagepath directories in the MASTER STYLE and that is causing the problem? Do you have a link (and test account) to where this is happening?
