  • [Forum] Edit, Quick Reply & Quote Buttons Overlap

    I've seen 2 threads on this issue but no follow up or reply to what the fix is. Any help would be much appreciated.

    The threads I've been helping with that have this issue have had the wrong path to the images. Check your stylevars and check your postbit_legacy template (make sure you reverted/upgraded it) and your postbit.css template (make sure you reverted/upgraded it).

    Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

      Ok, I tried reverting both the templates and the CSS, the Stylevars I assumed would be in stock form as I did not do any modifications to them yet. I believe the file path is whatever it is with the new vB files......images/buttons/ then whatever that .png or.gif name

      Reverting did not work....Does this look like I have duplicate files when I uploaded the 4.0?

        Hi Lynne,
        I had the same issue after upgraded. Here is the post.
        upgraded on live site 4.0.2, post control bar issue

        All stylevars and templates were cleared/reverted but no chance.
        Any suggestions about this issue?

          It would really help if I can get a link to a page where this is happening. If you are using vbseo, please turn it off and see if you still have this issue.

              This is from the page source:
              Code:
              <img id="quoteimg_29374" src="" alt="Reply With Quote" />
              So, for some reason, the image for the post is not being called.

              Check... vboptions > style & languages > location of clear.gif

                  Then enter "clear.gif" there (no quotes). Also, make sure there is a clear.gif file in among your other vb files (in the root directory for vbulletin).
