  • [Forum] posting replies and such

    When posting replies etc on the forum the page starts to load very long after I hit submit. It loads like up to 30 minutes and more and never finishes. When I abort and go back look at the thread I have usually 2 duplicate replies ..

    so whats wrong, have you had any other users post this problem too or is it only me ?

      I have it very often, but I've seen topics made by members about the issue. I dont think everyone got it. At least I hope not

        After looking through my own bug report forum I see that there is a big part of the members having this problem. Also moderators have those problems when performing tasks

          Create a new style with no parent:
          • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
          • Parent Style: No Parent Style
          • Title: Default vBulletin
          • Allow User Selection: Yes
          • Save

          Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

          If it is still happening - Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
          Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

          PHP Code:
          define('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);

          Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

          If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

              Those are pretty (very!) high loads. You may want to post in the Server Configuration forum for advise on optimizing your server.
