[Forum] Anyone having this issue? Errors uploading attachments in vB 4.0.2

Members using any browser now receive an error that says "Image resize failed due to inability to obtain image size" when they try to upload an image as an attachment or to an album. This error appears with both the standard and enhanced attachment uploader. Everything worked fine with vB 4.0.1 in this regard...

Its also possible something else has changes since your upgrade. What is your image processor, is it all images or just some? If its just some can you try uploading an example here?

I am using ImageMagick. The problem is occurring with every single image I've tried -- large, small, jpg, png, gif, etc.

Is ImageMagick still installed and working properly?

Yes, I have other scripts that use ImageMagick, and I just verified that 'mogrify -resize 700x700 -unsharp 0.3x0.4+1.5+0 -quality 80 "$file" ' works as expected from the command line.

I do not know of any other system/server changes other than the vB 4.0.1 -> 4.0.2 upgrade.

Its having a problem creating a temporary file.

Thank you. Where are those temp files typically created? Is this just the php.ini 'upload_tmp_dir' ?

Unless you set vB to safe mode and set a custom directory, yes.

This is odd, because the permissions on that directory look fine. I guess I will need to handle this through a support ticket...
