How can I add the expand/collapse with widget onto forums?

That will require some modification to your templates/code. If you have some coding ability, you can ask for help with this on vbulletin.org

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

I found this today in the vbulletin control panel settings. ... no templates or code modifications needed. Forum Sidebar & Blocks.
I know I probably wasn't clear (which is why I used a picture) but literally just trying to figure out how/where to turn on the forum sidebar. There are so many features (which is awesome) it's just sometimes hard to know what people call them or where to find them in the admin.
It can be daunting at times, especially when you don't have unlimited time or undivided attention to spend on it, even when you'd rather be doing just that.Comment
