    The consequences in this specific case is that the row doesn't get removed from the table. Basically, if you get a MySQL server has gone away error, it just means that action is not going to be performed. I get this error every week after a certain task that takes a long time and then it gets to the part where it is supposed to insert a line in the logs, and then comes this error. I don't care though, so I don't do anything about it.

    This is a server issue. See this: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/t...mysql_goneaway and this: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...265#post310265

    Sitemap Database Error

    I give up on trying to figure out my sitemap and see a lot of other having problems.

    Now I keep getting this error just about every time I create a sitemap:

    Database error in vBulletin 4.0.1:

    Invalid SQL:
    DELETE FROM adminutil WHERE title = 'sitemapsession';

    MySQL Error : MySQL server has gone away
    Error Number : 2006

    Threads sitemap worked ok but forums sitemap created error after error in Google and some times would not even create an XML sitemap file.
