[Forum] Tag cloud issues?

I have a brand new VB4 forum (not upgraded) with no modifications and have found something strange with my clouds.

I enabled the tag clouds (search & usage) & everything was running fine.

Suddenly the Tag cloud based on "by usage" no longer works

The Tag cloud based on "by search" works perfectly.

I have deleted the cloud & set it up again and nothing?

I have searched on here & VB.org & have no clue why this stopped working or where i can look further to investigate.

Can somebody please help?

Hmmm, I just created a new tag cloud block by usage, then I added some tags to a thread and went back to my forum home and they are there. Perhaps check the values you have in max tags? or cache time ? See if changing those changes anything.

Well, we are talking about the blocks, so it's under Forums & Moderators > Forum Blocks Manager.

Thank you for your response. i created the clouds again.

I changed the max tags & cache time a few times but nothing appears in the cloud.

Its funny as the "by search" cloud functions perfectly???

I'm Stumped so have disabled it for now.

I'm not sure what to suggest. I set my cache to 60 and max tags to 30 and am using tag type - by usage and it is still working just fine on my test site. I suppose you could put in a support ticket and let them look at it.

is there any way to add colors to the tag's cloud ?

I have the exact same issue. My Tag Cloud block isn't showing anything either when I configure it to show tags by usage. When I configure it to show tags by search it is apparently working as intended. I have no idea why??
