[CMS] Where is the Grid Manager?

After upgrading my dev site several times I've yet to find the Grid Manager or the vBulletin CMS options.

Here are screen shots of the Admin cp, I see that I have upgraded to vB4.0.1 but the CP shows Latest version available: 3.8.4 Patch Level 2



Any ideas?

I read in some of the documentation that I could upgrade from 3.8.x,

Should I upgrade to 3.8.4 pl2 first and then upgrade to vB 4.0.1?

It doesn't look like you installed the suite. Or, did you may sure to turn on your plugins? The grid manager will be under the vBulletin CMS area which isn't showing at the moment. I suspect you do not have your plugins turned on .

In the Plugin Manager there is only vBulletin 4.0.1. Where is there another control to turn on plugins?

Is CMS a separate download from vBulletin?

The CMS only comes if you install the suite. Did you install the suite or the forums?

I followed the link at the top of the admin control panel to vb4.0.1 where is the link to the suite.
I never saw an option to install a suite.

After almost three years of owning and maintaining a vBulletin forum. I have to say that this upgrade to 4.0.1 is the worst experience I have encountered with vBulletin to date. (I'll chock up buying the Blog to be my mistake.)

From this website I downloaded vBulletin vbforum_4_4-0-1_VBFCDF352.zip and didn't see any other options for my license unless I wanted to buy an new license.

Based on my confidence in vBulletin earned over the last 3 years, it looks like I'm wasting too much time on a product that isn't ready for production.

A quick look at the bug logs tells me this isn't the software I should be running on my forum. I'll take another look in six months but for now, I've had enough of this upgrade to vB4.0.1.

I appreciate the free upgrade to vBulletin 4 but considering the problems I've had just getting this running, I won't be using this on my site, this customer wouldn't dare spend $250 on a Suite of problems.
