I have a fairly large board running vb 4.0.1. Recently we decided to restructure a few of the forums into about 2,000 subforums (yes it sounds ridiculously overkill but it actually works quite well for our purpose). After this restructure, the board index began loading considerably slower, taking about two seconds to load when it loaded in under half a second before. This seems to only have affected the forum index; viewing individual forums or threads loads at a normal speed. I disabled the quick navigation pull-down, and the subforums are set up to be hidden on the board index, but that didn't help. Are there any settings I can adjust to get it to load faster?
