I seemed to have been emailed some of these type of errors. Why and what is causing and how to fix?

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Thanks. I'm amazed how you know where all the answers are located. Are you a computer?

While I have your attention, I still am trying to find out if it is possible to turn off RSS on selected forums and how this would be done?

      Thanks

You cannot turn it off for specific forums using the default code. I think you'd have to write a couple of plugins - one to not show feeds for certain forums that would effect the external.php page (probably use the first hook in there) and another to not show the little feed link on the forumdisplay pages (pick a hook location from when the forum information is grabbed and spit out into the templates).
