Thumnails not Generating when Pictures are uploaded - Need help please

well I hate to admit it, but it was a setting issue as suggested. I was not aware of that new setting in 4.0, but it did the trick.

Check your settings in vboptions > attachments > thumbnail creation and thumbnail size. Also, do you get any sort of message when you upload the images? How about something in your error_logs (if you don't know where they are, ask your host)? What do you have set under settings > human verification manager > image verification library? And is there an image under the type you have selected (GD or Imagemagick)?

Well actually they are not getting generated at all. Attached is a screen shot of what happens. If I go into my album and click on the link I can see the full size image. Also, it happens in the CMS, when I publish an article it loads the full size image, but does not load the thumbnail.
When I uploaded the image below it instantly created the thumbnail and when I insert inline I can see the image and move it around. Do we have a setting wrong?

What do you mean they aren't being generated right away? You mean they are getting generated later?

Hi

When we upload pictures into a personal album for some reason the thumbnail(s) is not being generated right away. I tried it on his forum and it generates it right away. How do we fix this problem?
