How to have CMS as site root and Forum (root/furum)?

  • [CMS] How to have CMS as site root and Forum (root/furum)?

    I have been searching all day trying to find the clear answer maybe you guys can help me.

    I have my Vb4+CMS up and running.

    I have this, everything is installed in Yoursite.com/forum

    CMS: http://www.yoursite.com/forum/content.php
    Forum: http://www.yoursite.com/forum/forum.php

    I want this like i used to have it on 3.8.

    I hope this makes sense someone please help me.

    I must say you did not search very hard.
    There must be 6 threads and two in the bug tracker.

    This is supposed to be 'fixed' in 4.0.3.
    I'm doing something similar using this method. It is not a perfect solution though.

      Thank you sir,

      I must admit i could have done a little better im a little crazy with just having a newborn.

      I never thought to look at the bug tracker i shall check it out.

      Im glad what i said made sense it didnt make any sense to me that i went from using VBAin my root as my home page and Vb3.8 in /forum.
      Then everything was built out of the /forum now, i was hoping that the CMS would be root based as my home page.

      im glad they are working on a fix.

          I'm hoping it can be applied retroactively after 4.01 is installed. I'm upgrading tonight after deciding I am not going to wait for 4.03 to be released for this fix (which, by the way, shouldn't have been an issue to begin with!).
