  • [Forum] Text In VB4 Not Using Full Width Of The Screen

    Probably best explained by example.

    See this post - http://www.systemsfortraders.com/sta...-set-time.html

    Test is all bunched up on the left and not making use of the new fuller width in VB4 - Any ideas most welcome.

      Thanks - I looked there but what exactly is the 20 second fix and can it be done by a non-techie like me ?

      Thanks again.

        Find this code in the postbit or postbit_legacy template depending on which you use:

        Code:
        <div class="content<vb:if condition="$post['isfirstshown'] || $post['islastshown']"> has_ad</vb:if>">
        and change it to this:

        Code:
        <div class="content<!--<vb:if condition="$post['isfirstshown'] || $post['islastshown']"> has_ad</vb:if>-->">
        Vote for:

        - *Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe*
        -
        *PM - Add ability to reply to originator only*
        - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s)
        - "Quick Route" Interface...

            There's an option in the AdminCP to use the Legacy or Non-Legacy Postbit. If your forum layout looks the same as here, with the username to the left of the post, then it's the postbit legacy template. I am 99% sure that the legacy postbit is the default.

                  Although there seems to be an unusual amount of space between the last line of a post and the signiture. Why is that?

                    That's just the way the signatures are forced to the bottom of the post. If you don't like that, then add this to additional.css:
                    Code:
                    /* move up signature */
                    .postbitlegacy .after_content {
                    clear:none; }

                    Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

                    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.
