Attachment Database Error when opening from paperclip attachement icon

    I get this error when I open up all attachemnets in a thread, when I click on the attachemnet icon and a window opens up.

    Database error in vBulletin 4.0.1:

    It seems I have multiple database errors developing throughout my website. Any help?

      I'm Tipping at some point that image has been deleted or moved. Ive seen some pretty wacky things by deleting and moving attachments and done a heap of trials in a test forum. Crashed Tables, DB and DB server.

      If that is what has caused it, try deleting the thread..........The thread might or might not delete but the reference to the attachment will vanish and the DB errors should stop (A/ If that's what is causing your issues, B/If its only the one thread that has an attachment that has a deleted.)

      This is supposed to be fixed in 4.0.3

      It caused me massive problems till I figured out what the problem was.



      How it has been allowed to go on this long amazes me.

        It ws an issue with my web host and the Mysql databases, a table was locking up apparently.

        all fixed now
