[Forum] doc_backgroundColor stylevar missing from the list

Hi everyone,

I've updated to 4.01 and am trying to change the colours of my forum etc. The page background colour is apparently controlled by the doc_backgroundColor stylevar which is apparently missing from my list.

Also the words "Hide variables" are missing.



Any help is appreciated

There is no stylevar called "doc_backgroundColor", so it isn't missing.

Not sure about the Hide varialbe phrase missing. Do you have the phrase "hide_variables" in your phrases? You can try adding it:
phrase type - Style Tools
Product - vBulletin
Varname - hide_variables
Text - Hide Variables

According to the Stylevars visual dictionary there is and there is on my test site (see attachment). Which stylevar do I alter to change the page colour from white to something else then please?

The stylevar must have been removed. You would change the background with the stylevar doc_background - the background color is listed under that stylevar.

Finally worked it out!

doc_backgroundColour has indeed been removed.

doc_background: changes the colour of what used to be .body in 3.8
body_background: changes the colour of what used to be .page in 3.8

(just in case anyone else suffers from scrambled egg for brains like me )
