    Excellent suggestion! I usually work in firefox, but when making changes to my site, I open up Safari and log in as a regular Registered User so I can see what they see. There are times I have been *very* glad to have done this!

    They cannot bypass it unless you are using hacks and some of them makes your forum vulnerable.

    If it isn't coming up as a user in your usercp, then perhaps you allow guests to post on your forums. If guests are allowed to post, then can input a username and it shows up in the post like you just wrote - username and then Guest underneath the name.

    Guest assuming him as bot is able to post messages, its spamming the board with porn posts. Guests in my forum have no permission to post messages, but this one some how bypassing it and posting..

    Is this a Bug in vbulletin?

    this is the user id, it says its guest, dosent have any ip, and dosent come up in the search for users in admincp
