  • [CMS] Different Layouts for Section and article is possible?

    hi all,
I would like to have a 2 column layout for the news section and a 3 column layout for the inner news once opened. But it seems that the articles inside a specific section use the section layout. Is this correct?

Articles use the layout for the section they 'belong' to. There currently is no option to apply a certain layout only to an article.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

I actually just figured out that you can do this with subsections.

In the above poster's example, to do what they wanted they would have the following created:

Section = News ( The 2 column layout)
-- Subsection = Inner News ( The 3 column layout)

You would set all the news articles set to the subsection category (inner news) and they will still appear in the parent section -- and when the user clicks on them, they will appear in a different layout (the subsection they belong to).

        Hope that helps...

Is there a plugin or something like that that solves this issue??? For me is very imporant...

freestyle -> your strategy works ... nevertheless the breadcrubs shows the subsection which is useless ....

THIS WOULD BE A GREAT FEATURE TO ADD TOO
