[Forum] A couple of questions regarding attachments / images

1. How can I give my users the same "upload image" interface as my Admin account? Users only get URL option when clicking "insert image" and have to use Attachment Manager to upload images.

2. How can I limit / re-size or thumbnail images that have been inserted from a URL?

Anyone? I have asked this a couple of times now, surely someone knows how to do this , the more I fiddle with the attachment side of things the more I think it sux.

I think its time for an overhaul of the current system, its a ***** to set up and confusing for the users.

Below are some screenshots of what I mean, on the left is the "insert image" option under my Admin account, and on the right is the "insert image" option under my users accounts. I would like my users to have the same as in the image on the left.

Hi Matt, I agree with the overhaul idea. Takes forever to find this stuff. I think I changed the same thing you're looking for this morning.

Settings >> Options >> User registration options >> Message Editor Interface change to enhanced.

Then I think you need to change it for users already registered (or they can do themselves).

Holy crap, I have been looking for this for days, thank you very much. What a stupid place to have that setting. I now have to do this for every member? how ridiculous.
