    Here's a fix that worked for me. In class_core.php, search for "dirname", and change the line to this:

    define('VB_URL_SCRIPT_PATH', rtrim(str_replace('\\','',dirname($url_info['script'])), '/') . '/');
    I had the some problem after upgrading to 4.0.1 (from 4.0.0).

    Server is Windows 2003 IIS - with FastCGI.

    The quoted changed FIXED the issue for me.

    Thanks a lot!

            My issue is still in existence. I was successfully running 4.0, with 4.0.1, I start getting IIS 500 errors when attempting to go to CMS.

                I have this problem but the line of code you mentioned above appears to have been already corrected. Downloaded 4.0.1 1/21/10.

                Now what do I do?

                  Admincp->settings->options->sitename/url ... homepage url doesn't have a trailing / does it?

                  Otherwise this should fix it. Also try clearing cms cache and rebuild nodes?
