The earthquakes the last couple of days have been in northern California. Last week, they were here in the San Francisco Bay area. As far as I know, there haven't been any noticeable earthquakes down in the LA area.
Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

There will always be bugs in software. That being said, I just got done doing some stuff in the CMS using 4.0.1 and I can assure you that there are still some bugs left - like the publishing date one.(Of course, my 4.0.1 is a couple days old and they may have fixed that, who knows.)

At one time these WHERE IS 4.x.x threads were mildly amusing, now they are just sad.
How many times can you tell people that IB runs on Pacific Time, no one cares if its Tuesday in whatever timezone, vb runs on Pacific Time these days.
Did I mention IB is based in on the US West Coast, thats Pacific Time.
The last few releases have always been in the late afternoon - so I think I can guess when this one will be (thats Pacific Time btw).
Baby, I was born this way

Let's don't forget that there are so many more coders working on this product than ever before.
I agree btw. with most voices that Gold might be the wrong title for the current status. BUt it's good that they put the pressure on themselves :-) - and I'm sure that latest by end of february we'll all be enjoying an excellent piece of software.
@to those complaining that they do depend on the income through their web presence:
Well no one forced you to move to 4.0, right? I appreciate those comments here, advising in general to wait before installing each and every new release. My site isn't critical, if it would be, well I would never upgrade immediately :-)

I'm looking forward to it, so hopefully it hits soon. Although I would prefer to have a functional release over a broken one so I can be a little lenient.Just get these bugs fixed!

Update: vB 4.0.1 will not be released today as originally hoped due to one of those infamous 'unforeseen' circumstances. We still fully expect to release it this week.Planning to continue using VB 3.8 post EOL? Then join the VB 3.8 Forever group and visit www.vb3forever.org!

Ooops

The extra wait will be worth it and 'sometime this week' should reduce the where is it posts for a day or so.... Perhaps

by CheeseMan316Where can I find release notes for 5.0.1? I would like to review if any of the fixes are items our users are experiencing before deciding whether to chance introducing new issues.
