  • [Forum] Changing the welcomemessage and pagetitle text but can't find where it lives

    I have used Firefox and Firebug to locate the variables but cannot find the actual file that contains the text string that needs to be replaced. I use the prhase search but it does not lead me to where the actual text string is stored. What file is the "welcomemessage" text and "pagetitle" text stored?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Search for the phrase through: ACP > Languages & Phrases > Search in Phrases
    while(true){
    if(
    $someone->needsHelp() && $i->canHelp()) $post->help();
    if(
    $i->findBug()) $post->bug();
    }

      That is the first thing I tried, like 10 different ways and i can never locate the text. Although I can search and find variables, I cant seem to locate any phrases.
      Also when i search for the" welcomemessage" variable i can only find reference to a CSS file and the forum.php file. Where is the text string located??
      Also, are there special settings to locate a text string in the Languages and Phrases, it can find any of the words i am looking for.

      Thank you for your help. frustrating for sure because I can seem to do everything else ok.

        Did you have any luck with this? I've changed ours and now can't remember where and need to do it again.
