Is it new forum or existing one? vB4 is not UTF/unicode compatible, you will have some yet unsolvable problems. -
window-1256 > utf-8
I would like to change from charset window-1256 to utf-8 but I don't know how to!!
Can I do this via admincp or do I need to change this via phpMyAdmin. And what exactly do I need to do?
And are there any known issues with arabic characters when making this move?

I upgraded today my forum from 4.2.5 to 5.4.3 and i installed it in a new directory and i connected it to a copy of the original database.
