After the last 24 hours diddling with this miserable upgrade that STILL WONT WORK, I hope the patch has some upgrade flaws sorted. I installed the patch on my 3.8.4 but have all but thrown in the towel on EVER having Vb 4 working. What a flicking mess.Comment

The announcement will be posted shortly I believe. This isn't just a 4.0 issue before folks start using this as an excuse to jump on it again...

I presume it's delete install.php, upload and run forums/install.php as usual. Only the new documentation in the root doesn't actually cover the upgrade process and it actually says to delete install.php and upgrade1.php after a clean install. Only there's no upgrade1.php in the install directory. Anyone care to comment before I go ahead and run the upgrade script?
