  • [Forum] Help w/ setting up VB4 Suite for subdomains? ???.mydomain.com

    What is the most effective way to set up the VB4 Suite URL structure to be the following?
    • CMS: mydomain.com
    • Blogs: blog.mydomain.com
    • Forum: forum.mydomain.com
    I do have full administrative rights on my server.
    I'm currently running Apache on Windows 7.

    Any help on achieving these results above will greatly be appreciated.

    There is no option to do it within vb4.0. You need to write your own rewerite rules, modify your templates and links to link to your own URL structure.
    while(true){
    if(
    $someone->needsHelp() && $i->canHelp()) $post->help();
    if(
    $i->findBug()) $post->bug();
    }

        You need to write your own rewrite rules that you can define in the .htaccess, be careful that they don't conflict with the default rules. Make sure your rewrite rules links to the right path.
        Edit your templates (mostly the navbar and breadcrumb) to point to your new urls instead of the default.
        while(true){
        if(
        $someone->needsHelp() && $i->canHelp()) $post->help();
        if(
        $i->findBug()) $post->bug();
        }
