  • [Forum] Showing BBcode Examples

Hi there everyone, just curious, is there a way to give an example of how to use BBcode without it actually parsing the code?

I tried the [CODE] tag, however, it still parses within the box.

    Thanks in advance!

Do you mean the [noparse] tags?

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

      Doh, there is a tag?

I just want to be able to show people how to use a specific bbcode without it parsing so that they can see how the format looks.

      [noparse][B]testing[/B]

**edit** well that does not work (yes there is a [/noparse] at the end, it is not displaying for some reason)

I think you screwed it up because you wrote your other [ noparse ] tag at the beginning of your post (notice how it is missing right before "tag"?)

Sorry I am not getting what you mean...there is no [ noparse ] tag at the beginning.

          [b]testing[/b]

**edit** I see what you mean...my mistake. Thanks for your help, I was never aware of that tag
