PHP 5.7 doesn't exist. However, the missing function is a standard PHP function. You can find out its requirements in the PHP Manual.

You can also configure PHP so that the big_int.so (big_int.dll on Windows) file is loaded at runtime instead of having to be loaded dynamically.

I had a problem with email in my forum. I was running 4.2.3 with PHP 5.6. I tried upgrading to 4.2.5. I had a few problems. I missed that I had to upgrade my PHP version to 5.7 first, then I missed that I had to turn the Blogs on to finish the upgrade.

I did eventually get what appeared to be a successful upgrade.

Unfortunatly, I seem to still have a problem. If I go to "Email Tools", Upload list, I get:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function dl() in /home/carscene/public_html/forums/includes/class_encryption.php on line 28

Where should I look?
