    This means that the informations for your database are wrong. Please check them again and in case you can not find out yourself, please contact your host for this.

      I sorted it, I noticed in the includes/config file that it asked for the database info more than once. I filled it in twice and it worked.

                Edit: You can create a temporary file called info.php with these content
                <?php
                phpinfo();
                ?>
                Upload it to your server and after calling this file with your browser you will see the version of php which your server is running. When done, delete the file again.

                    I would guess you did not put it in the correct place. Did you put it inside the public_html directory or inside another directory?

                    Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

                    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

                        I get a server error now when trying to view that file. Did you create the file using a plain text editor such as notepad++ ?

                            Can you reupload all the default vbulletin files (keep a copy of your /includes/config.php file just in case) and then after they have all been uploaded completely, try the install script again.

                              Special Thanks to Zachery Woods. He had a quick look and within 2/3 mins it installed. Seems I had a space in the config file.

                              Thanks for all your help
