Going from PHPBB to vBulletin HELP

By renaming the forum dir to /oldforum, the phpbb forum will be located at your domain/oldforum. You can then make the folder forum, and use the upgrade steps to upgrade your forum

so just upload the "upload" folder then change the forum directory to old forum and change the "upload" folders name into forum and run the installer correct?.

so by renaming the old forum it will take it off from the directory /forum and i can install the new vb forum into /forum without any issues right?. And also i just import all the files into that folder that came with the Suite correct?.

Just rename the /forum directory to old forums, and then upload the vBulletin to /forum

so by renaming the old forum it will take it off from the directory /forum and i can install the new vb forum into /forum without any issues right?. And also i just import all the files into that folder that came with the Suite correct?.

Easiest way is probably just to rename the phpBB folder while you are installing vB and doing to import and either deleting the phpBB folder afterward or just disallowing access to that folder.

I am moving from phpbb to vbulletin and I need help. I already have a board www.infestforum.com/forum and I was wondering am I supposed to delete the old forum files before installing vbulletin?

You can create a folder on your site "/forums"and upload the vB files there.
Install your vB forum.
Use impex to convert the content from your phpBB forum.
Leave a message on the phpBB forum that they can visit and try vB there.
