    [Forum] "Catchable fatal error" when upgrading to 4.2

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?> Catchable fatal error: Object of class vB_CurlyNode could not be converted to string in /home/onlinede/public_html/forums/includes/template_curly_defs.php on line 60
    During the install process, which is 98% complete, a popup said "Unexpected text." The error it gave is quoted above.

    ...so what do I do now and why did this happen?

    That's a new one. If you refresh the upgrade script, does the error persist?

      Yes, it won't allow me to go past that point.
