  • [Suite] Database Error after upgrading

    Did an upgrade on a pretty much vanilla install of 3.8.7 to 4.1.10 and am getting the following error when trying to view the forum. Tried re-running the upgrade script, no luck.

    Code:
    [FONT=arial]Database error in vBulletin 4.1.10:[/FONT]

    [FONT=arial]Invalid SQL:[/FONT]
    [FONT=arial]SELECT COUNT(*) AS count FROM bglw38_attachment WHERE visible = 0;[/FONT]

    [FONT=arial]MySQL Error : Unknown column 'visible' in 'where clause'[/FONT]
    [FONT=arial]Error Number  : 1054[/FONT]

    [FONT=arial]Error Date    : Tuesday, February 21st 2012 @ 12:47:58 PM[/FONT]
    [FONT=arial]Script        : [/FONT][URL]http://bigguylilworld.com/forum.php[/URL]

    That is from a modification. There is no visible column in the attachment table.

    Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

      Thanks but I have no modifications installed other than the CMS and blog

      Edit:

      My apologies I had some 3.8 plugins disabled but is was still causing problems. Disabling plugins via config got it working again.

        Negative removing all plugins while leaving the Blog and CMS addon enabled still generates that error.

          Please run maintenance > diagnostics > suspect file version and make sure all the files are totally default and you have no leftover files listed.
