[Forum] moving forums

I am having trouble moving my forums, I just purchased a domain with a new host, and i moved over the sites database's with ease and moved all the files over, but I can't log into the site without it redirecting me to the old one, and when I try to log into the adminpanel on the new host it logs in but hangs. Can anyone help me out?

I usually use a trick, I do the upgrade and fix. Once in the admin panel, change the address of the forum.

tools.php will sort the redirect issue. Think it's 'Reset cookies domain' and 'reset cookie path'.

For the hanging on login that may be a plugin that's incompatible with 4.1.10, Try disabling hooks in the config.php file. Add define("DISABLE_HOOKS", 1); as the second line of config.php and save. Once you're in you'll need to disable all the plugins, remove that line from config again, then re-enable each plugin in turn to find out which one is causing the problem.

If it isn't that it may be the same problem I'm having, which unfortunately I haven't solved yet. It may be the Suhosin module on your new server. To check, go to adminCP>Maintenance>Diagnostics>Problematic Webserver Modules and see what it lists, if anything.
