[Forum] I really screwed it up when trying to upgrade

I tried to do an upgrade. seemed everything was fine but then when I got to the upgrade php it got to step #4 and them aborted the script.

I do not know what that did. But my forum is all screwed up and I have no idea what to do

Re-upload the files again. It shall fix the issue because it seems like the files transfer was not completed in a right way. Give it a second push.

I tried to reinstall the upgrade. Did not help.

Cant get to admin cp.

also when I go to try and run the upgrade script it failed the first time and now when I go to http://www.turftopics.com/pathtoforu...ll/upgrade.php, to run the script I get this:

Not Found

The requested URL /pathtoforums/install/upgrade.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

at one point I screwed up and loaded upload/clientscript to public_html/clientscript, instead of to public_html/forums/clientscript. I do not know what is supposed to be in there to begin with so wasn't sure what I could take away. So I deleted all of the files dated 5/3/2011 and then reloaded that folder . I think, I have tried so many different things trying to fix it I probably have things way out of whack. I am never updating again.

You were updating from what version to what version? And also, did you turn off your vbulletin while upgrading? Did you also take a back up before proceeding as advised in the upgrade documentation?

from 4.03 (or something close to that) to 4.1.3 ( the latest)
yes I did turn off my forum
yes I did a backup also (do not know how to use it but I think I have one there)

Ok great. So, if you failed upgrading, you can restore the backup via the cpanel.

If you want to upgrade (And this is recommended for security issues) please open a ticket support in the members area. These guys will be the best helpers to you

It is different on every site. It is the server path where your forums are installed.

On my testing forums under IIS it is: G:\inetpub\wwwroot\vbulletin\vb4110\upload\

On my live site it could be: /var/www/example.com/public_html/

It looks like it's been updated now
I'd suggest deleting the update.php file or the whole install folder
