    [Suite] Probably something simple...but...

Done the upgrade to the latest version of VB and, as always, followed the instructions.

The left panel of the admin cpanel (the menus) isn't looking right....not sure if I've uploaded something wrongly, but hoping someone can help?

Also, the view members profile - still not quite right

Please, please help. I'm not getting to the end of my teather with the upgrades

    Cheers,
    Martyn

Can you try to reupload all the files again and see if it would help?

P.s. Did you get any errors during the upgrade process?

It looks like you did not upload your image files in binary mode, thus the strange look on your admincp background.

As for the postbit, you will need to talk to the developer of the add-ons you have and find out why they aren't looking correct.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Not a one. Upgrade took a few minutes, but no errors reported at all.

Reuploaded admincp files and images (in binary, again) without joy. Even ran the re-installer. Again. Doesn't explain why the display user profile page is borked either Lynne. I'm open to accept that maybe I've done something wrong, but Im guessing its just more ****ty code from VB.

What is wrong with the postbit? The only problems I see are with the Thank You mod.

(And look at the images you uploaded - http://fiat-scotland.com/fiat/upload...er/cp_logo.gif They have errors because they were not uploaded in binary mode.)

The postbit seems fine to me as well with the minor exception of the thank you mod as mentioned above.

When you click on user profile (ie on the index a user name) the tabs are all messed up. It's the case with or without mods enabled. (Second pic I posted as I recall)

I believe the issue with the tabs in the profile has been brought up and put into the bug tracker. Let me look....

I get a log in screen when I click at a user's profile at your forum. But I see that you are using a custom theme. Does the same thing happen at the default theme as well?

I believe so, yes. You should be able to change skin at the bottom left corner.

I have to go work just now, will be back later to try and fix.

Right, RE the above I've done all the fixes suggested...

Now I'm getting a completely random error. Clicking on links within the forum brings up a page of, well, gibberish.

Doesnt always do this, and a quick refresh seems to cure???

Um, uh.... that is really really weird! Do you get anything in your error_logs when that happens? That is most likely a server configuration error... has anything changed on your server lately?

Dumb question time - where can I find error logs?

As for server - not that I'm aware of. I don't delve into any of that stuff, working my way around VB is more than enough for me!

They are usually in the same directory as your access_logs. If you don't know where these are, then you'll need to ask your host.
