[Suite] customise profile only work in vb4 default style

I am sorry, can someone please point to me why the customise profile only work in vb4 default style. not any of custom style.

So if I am going to customise my profile, it can only be done in vb4 default style, editing will not work in any custom style.

But changes in vb4 default style can be seen in any custom styles. when viewing profile with custom style, I can see the customise button and the editor. just when we change colors etc it wont save. But it saved in vb4 default style.

custom style is when we put in our own design code(html) into header, navbar and footer - just like vbulletin does.

So I cannot see why its not working. Nothing in headinclude.

You will need to ensure that any script calls etc are included in your custom style

Hi Trevor thank you for replying, I haven't touch the headinclude template.so I cannot see why its not working in custom style because headinclude where everything starts.
I practice standard inserting code in 3 templates many months since the beginning of vb4.

if removing the vbulletin div skeleton such as above body, body wrapper is the cause? I know that customise profile also affected the body wrapper div, but its no use in custom style.

Is youyr MEMBERINFO template the same as the default?

like I said only 3 templates. memberinfo is default. I start a new style based on 4.0.8 default style.
you can try yourself. It just don't work in with custom style.

normal procedure for me is I take off the above body div in header and its closing in navbar, and body wrapper in navbar and its closing div in footer.
then I put my design code in header, navbar and footer. I am not newbie in here, so my word is 100% accurate. I am 3rd party vb skin maker, but this is the only problem now.
I tested in my dev and also in my customer forum. The design css is put inside additional.css

I have detected now what is compulsory div that the profile page must have in a custom style. It never be a problem taking out that particular div. I think it should be submitted as bug, without that div the customise profile will failed to save the colors etc in a custom style.

But I dont trust the bug report anymore, they just wanna get rid everything without investigating/testing the bug of the report. A lot of outsiders not vbulletin employees.

If you don't report it as a Bug, then it will never be investigated by the developers. Perhaps it should have a comment next to it to state that it should be left...
