Hi,

Is there a way to stop members from been able to delete all their attachments listed under Settings?

Seems a bit unfair that a member is able to remove all the attachments in bulk but leaving the posts behind.

well, I have...
Allow Deletion of Attachments Beyond Edit Time Limit

and

Allow Deletion of Attachments in Closed Threads

set to NO.

And yet the member is still able to go into SETTINGS then ATTACHMENTS and mass delete their attachments.

On my test site, I have both of those set to No, and a edit time limit of 10. I had a Regular User make a post with an attachment, then I waited over ten minutes and looked in Settings > Attachments and the attachment shows up there, but with no checkbox for me to select it to delete. What do you have your Edit Post Time Limit set to?

Time Limit on Editing of Thread Title = 10
Time Limit on Editing of Posts = 10

Still users can tick their attachments in SETTINGS --> Attachments

Where am I going wrong?

Have you tested this with a totally default style and plugins turned off? I tested this on my site and, as I said, it worked fine - no checkboxes next to those attachments that were beyond the editing limit for posts (with other options No). (Of course, if you are an admin, then you will still have this option. Also, this does not apply to images in an album.)
