  • [Forum] VBulletin mysql databse upgrading

    Hello,

I have a vbulletin 4.0.6 board and need to move it to another web host, I have all my posts and members and etc.. on that board that I want to bring onto the new board how may i do this. I know it's something with mysql then phpmyadmin export? Do I use a program called mysql dumper?

Also If I upload vbulletin 4.0.7 onto my new web hosting could I add the files from my old forum onto there?

If you use PHPMyAdmin, you can Export a SQL dump of the database to move it onto the new host.

Follow this tutorial to export the database.
Learn how to back up and save your MySQL database so you can restore it later or move it to another server.
