i want back to version 4.0.2 how to do that because my custom style broken after upgrade to 4.0.3?

just replace the 4.0.3 files with 4.0.2 and call upgrade.php or what? cuz i'm scared that broken my database

Did you make a backup of the db prior to the upgrade?

Ah!!! You should always make a backup first no matter what.

You need a backup of your db where you run 4.0.2, only changing files will not work. I think it will be easier to repair your style, this shouldn't be too hard.

In that case your only other option to roll back to vb 4.0.2. would be to do a conversion to another forum and then convert it back to vb 4.0.2. but you might loose some things in the process.

Wrong... You shouldn't be using AdminCP to create backups to begin with.

As stated above, before doing any upgrade you shoudl take a backup of your database. The most reliable method of backing up and restoring a database is with shell access via ssh. This is because backing up with a PHP script like phpMyAdmin or that found previously in AdminCP can result in PHP timeouts errors and an incomplete backup file. Please see the instructions here:

i fix my style to work with 4.0.3 in IE8-Firefox-google chrome + IE7 but still some error in IE7 i need time to know how can i fix it

I lost a lot of time to make my style work again in 4.0.3 i hope that not happened again in 4.0.4 ...

there are almost always template updates, have been for years
you can update your templates yourself in the styles manager.
