My whole forum (all tables) are in UTF-8 (because of Czech language). So i shouldn't upgrade from 3.8.4 to 4.0.2 (Suite) yet?

Find UTF support. It was here for a moment, but was removed by former general manager during presale period.

Really? vb4 does not support utf-8??? Strange -especially that in vB code is lot of 'utf-8' charset comparation. Issue is that in one place it is 'utf-8' and in other 'UTF-8' (like in friendly url class).
Also I just made test installation of Publishing Suite under utf-8 (lowercased) and it seems to be ok...

Can somebody from vB team can tell does vB4 support utf-8 encoding?

vB4 is not UTF compatible. It is planned to be implemented somewhere during 4.x branch lifetime.

I didnt think vb 4 used UTF-# at all.

I know vb 3 did, but ive also seen a million threads about this here,
and the initial releases DID not have utf-8 support at all. so if it does
its must have been pacthed.. ?

    UTF-8 encoding - case sensitive?

    Hello.

My question is does vBulletin 4 is case sensitive for charset? Should I set 'UTF-8' or it can be 'utf-8'? I'm asking about setting 'HTML Character Set'.

It is very important for me. Thanks in advance.

    Just a question I just note that vb5demo works on UTF-8 .

Does it means that vB is actually and finally would support UTF-8?
