The installation Documentation need to reflect everything that needs to be done each time you upgrade or install... It is not being updated..... Posting instructions like this and expecting people to search all of this site to see what needs to be done before they install is just plain sloppy. Once vb 4 went gold the install documents should have been completely updated to reflect all changes and requirements. Again someone is both very lazy and very sloppy.

I read over all the documentation myself, but I occasionally miss certain things. I did miss the note about reverting templates until reading it here, but I never upgrade right away anyhow. Instead, I like to read over the problem pages here for a few days. If you have a problem with an upgrade, you may want to consider the same. Waiting to upgrade a few days won't hurt anything and there is less stress when you finally do.
