vBulletin 3.8.X does not work with PHP 7.2. The highest version is supports is PHP 7.1. Please note that vBulletin 3 is over 15 years old and is considered End of Life. We won't be updating it. I recommend upgrading to vBulletin 5.5.6.

The split() function was removed from PHP in 7.0.0. The most likely cause for this issue is an out of date third-party plugin.

  • Error: Call to undefined function split() in ..../global.php(607) : eval()'d code on line 4

ISP upgraded PHP to 7.2 this morning and got the following error:

Error: Call to undefined function split() in ..../global.php(607) : eval()'d code on line 4

Any ideas on how to fix it?

    Thanks
