I'm sorry, I found the mistake. There has been a forwarding from these e-mails by the hoster.

No, it's in config.php. As Paul has confirmed, that is the only place it is stored.

    Hi,

    thanks for your answers.
So I have to read the database and have to check if the e-mail is set anywhere?
Where do I have to do that?

    Best regards,

    Daniel

Its only set in one place, your config.php, database fails are not sent to the webmaster e-mail (since that would mean you had to read the database !).

    /includes/config.php should be the one.

There is also a setting in the admincp: Webmaster's Email. It's possible it might be coming from that.

    Where is the "technicalemail" located?

    Hello,

I'm running my forum on vB 3.8.9.
I have the problem, that an old administrator, who is no longer active in my forum, is still receiving database error messages from the forum and I get "returned Mails" because this email does no longer exist. I don't know, why she is still receiving database error messages from the forum. In www.myforum.de/includes/config.php is only set my email-adress. Is there another location where the technicalemail could be set? I can't find anything.

    Thanks a lot,

    Daniel
