When moving a user to a group where "Maximum stored private messages" is set to 0 - in order to temporarily their ability to send and receive PMs - I believe this also deletes any PMs they currently have? Is there a better workaround?

I believe existing PMs will not be deleted. Try it for a test account first to verify. -
Yeh I wasn't sure because I did it once, and the user complained all of their PMs were purged - starting to think that wasn't the case and it was due to something else. You've just reminded me I can test locally.Originally posted by Glenn Vergara View PostComment

I have a member who claims that PMs are missing from his archive/inbox. Interestingly, it is only PMs from a particular other member. Is this a known issue? He contacted me concerned that I had deleted...Fri 26 Jun '15, 2:24am
