I've inherited quite a situation where we have a vBulletin board with lots of data we wish to preserve but the one person who has shell access to the host is no longer with us. It is only a matter of time before the host is down. I have vBulletin admin access and we have one individual with FTP access, but that is all.
We've tried creating a back up via the admin panel but the resulting SQL is missing most of the data & tables. I've gone as far as to execute SQL queries and copy & paste the data out, but much of the formatting in text fields is lost (carriage returns, line feeds, etc) and we cannot get the postindex table (it is too large).
Any ideas how I can recover this data?
