Logging in to the Admin Control Panel

I had someone else install my forum as I'm not super tech savvy, and I cannot access the admin CP now. Can anyone shed light as to how I do that? I need to lock down the access as I have a million bots on my site.

When I go here... http://www.example.com/forums/admincp/ (I put in my domain in place of example) I get an error about it not existing. When I look in my ftp, i find the folder forum/admincp. In the admincp folder the only thing in there is a folder named upload. Inside of that, there are tons of folders and files.

Did he install something wrong? The "upload" folder isn't making sense to me. Please advise.

Yep, something is wrong there, insdie the admincp folder should be all the admin folders and files, not an upload folder.

I suggest deleting the upload folder. Then copy the files to the server again. The contents of the upload folder should go into your main vBulletin folder.
