You manually edit the templates and enter the adsense code yourself.

ForumRunner has the option to ad adsense code.

I'm sure there's a way to implement them, but I have not tried so I couldn't tell you.

    1) No, you don't get any commission from what people pay to purchase the app, and that's with all apps, not just Tapatalk or even Forum Runner. The only ones who make money are Tapatalk and Apple.

    2) Not sure on this one. You'd have to investigate them individually, or ask the developer of the particular plugin you're looking at.

    3) If I were creating a mobile-friendly site, I would stick to using a mobile style instead of a plugin. That way I could control ads if need-be, through templates and CSS.

Most people are hitting our site from laptops or desktops (workplaces), however the number coming to us from smartphones is increasing.

There seems to be a lot of plugins and apps available, and vb had something they were charging a lot of money for last time I checked. Have the bugs and costs to making a vb site 'mobile friendly' been resolved? I am a total noob at mobile friendllyness so some tips would be appreciated.

    I have some questions:

    1) If I install an 3rd party plugin like tapatalk, which apparently works with an app people have to buy, do we get a cut of the app fee?

    2) If I install an 3rd party mobile friendlyness plugin, will our adsense and other ads get delivered through the app to the user's phone as well? We need to continue to earn revenue with ads.

    3) Is there another solution that will provide a reliable mobile interface for our users yet still allow us to deliver ads? Does vb have a solution for us that won't cost an arm and a leg?

    4) We will eventually upgrade to vb 4x. What is the best mobile friendly solution we can implement that will not cause us grief in the upgrade process?

    Thanks,
