"View first unread" button in IE9

My users who are running IE are having a problem with the "view first unread" button at the top left side of the thread. For them the button is not functional. It works fine in firefox, chrome and on Mac machines.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Nope, never. I say this as someone who used IE9 for as long as it was out, and someone now using IE10 instead.
