  • Templates Messed up

I had the old VBSEO 3.0 plugin and i uninstalled it. as soon as I did the templates ( all skins ) of my site went haywire. The plugin is not to be found anywhere, even tried google.

Is there a way to only restore all the templates from a previous backup file I have?
Its like 4 months old and I dont do a full backup because will lose A LOT of information.
Is there a way to just fix the template with an old backup? Pleaseeeee Im desperate

Upload the install folder for your version of vBulletin and run the upgrade script. That will reimport the Master Style. Once that is done, if you continue to have problems create a new style with no parent.

It will remain, though whether it will be fully functional is not certain.

If I upload vb again all the modifications will be lost because i have to say yes to replace the old ones with new ones. So im really stuck or im not understanding right :/

Make sure you have removed their .htaccess file from the forum's root folder.

                  Did that and nothing happened.

Problem solved tho. Someone sent me a newer version of same plugin. installed it and site is back to normal.
Leaves me to wonder, i cant uninstall it then? I have to be stuck with it forever? :/

You should find a replacement for vBSEO, or get rid of it. You might get better help over at vBulletin.org, since this deals with third party addons.

everything is back to normal. Had to install a newer version, then turn it of in its own cp, then uninstall it from ACP and then remove everything from ftp ESPECIALLY the .htaccess ..
