    Thanks for the response Trevor, not to worry then I'll just take the forum off-line while I am tinkering. I think I'm paying the price now for not thinking through my usergroups ten years ago when I set the forum up!

    Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

    Making entire forum read only with one setting?

    Is there an easy way to make the entire forum read only, without editing individual usergroup permissions? A master switch "Forum is open for new posts?" if you like? I want to do a server move but while I am working on it would prefer the forum to still be readable. Thanks
