  • MySQL Has Gone away

    My forum has continuously started to generate this particular error:
    Invalid SQL:

    UPDATE TOGvB_datastore SET
    data = data - 10,
    data = IF(data < 0, 0, data)
    WHERE title = 'mailqueue';

    It's ALWAYS this mailqueue error!

    MySQL Error : MySQL server has gone away
    Error Number : 2006
    Request Date : Monday, January 20th 2014 @ 12:45:32 AM
    Error Date : Monday, January 20th 2014 @ 12:49:29 AM
    Script These point to my site but URL is different each time, no consisentency
    Referrer :
    IP Address : x.x.x.x
    Username : xxxxx
    Classname : vB_Database
    MySQL Version :



    Not quite sure what's going on here?

      MySQL server has gone away

      This is a server issue and you should contact your host about this.

        Not 100% sure yet but I believe i caused the problem myself by adding -f to the settings in email. Reason I did this is that I can't seem to get my bounced returned but this seems to have been generating this problem, haven't had it since I reverted it.

        Like I said I'm not totally convinced yet but I wanted to at least mention it here from a closure point of view.
