  • I want to delete or hide the file

    Hello

I want to delete or hide the file moderator / admin.php

but I do not know where he is

and what it represents is a risk of piracy?

Assuming you mean the admincp, this is a directory not a file... You can find the link in the footer links of the page if you are logged in as an Administrator. Regular users don't see the link. Deleting it isn't an option, you will need it. In your config.php you can specify a custom directory name for your admincp and modcp if you want to "hide" them.

Also setting an htaccess password for these directories are a good idea for added security.

      Thanks for the reply
for the folder admincp I changed his name and I made a protection on the file
but I'm talking about something else
I ask if this link as a visitor

I received a message of lack permission
so I want to change the address of that file or folder
for it to be inaccessible for all the world except that it knows the address

There is no file called admin.php in either the modcp or admincp directory that I can see. Perhaps it's from a mod?

I see the link you sent me by PM and I believe you that it exists but admin.php is not a default vbulletin file. In VB 3.8 the default files in modcp are:

            announcement.php
            banning.php
            clear.gif
            deletedposts.php
            forum.php
            global.php
            help.php
            index.php
            moderate.php
            thread.php
            user.php

No one will expect admin.php to exist anyway. If you change the name there is no way I can predict what it might effect since it isn't part of vBulletin core product.

my problem is when I look in the folder vb to find the file admin.php to change its name
I can not find it, it's weird
anyway it does not represent any risk do you
